A smart safe is a cash-management device — a secure, electronically monitored enclosure that accepts, validates, and stores currency at the point of acceptance, then reports deposits back to the operator without manual counting. Nevatronix designs and manufactures smart-safe enclosures and integrated cash-management units end-to-end from its Las Vegas facility: secure sheet-metal fabrication, electro-mechanical and control integration, and a 100% functional test before anything ships.
Secure enclosure fabrication
A smart-safe body is built to resist tampering and hold up to a hard commercial duty cycle, not just contain cash. Nevatronix fabricates the enclosure in-house from cold-rolled and plate steel or stainless — heavier gauge and reinforced seams at the note and coin entry points, welded and finished for continuous public-facing service. The same in-house sheet-metal discipline used across our kiosk and signage programs applies here, with the added structural requirements a secure enclosure demands.
Electro-mechanical and control integration
The enclosure is only half the build. Nevatronix integrates the note validator, coin handling, locking mechanism, and control electronics into a single, serviceable unit — wiring harnesses dressed and routed, control boards mounted and connected, and access points positioned for field service without compromising security. Every unit finishes at a dedicated final-test station and is 100% functionally tested — validation accuracy, locking cycle, and control communication all confirmed — before it leaves the floor.
Build-to-spec and value engineering
Most smart-safe programs come to us with a fixed specification — an operator’s cash-handling requirements, a vendor’s validator and locking hardware, a target footprint. We build to that spec, and where there’s room, we value-engineer the design to cut manufacturing cost before the first part is cut: simplifying the enclosure, reducing part count, and tightening the assembly sequence without changing the customer-facing spec. We bring this program discipline to every smart-safe program: concept through production and ongoing support, all under one roof.
Smart-safe programs run for gaming operators managing floor cash and fintech operators managing point-of-acceptance deposits, from single prototypes through 50,000-unit runs, with typical lead times of 3–4 weeks for piece parts and 10–12 weeks for complete assemblies. Every program runs under an ISO 9001:2015 quality system (NSF-ISR registered), in a UL-authorized facility, on a certified MIE Trak Pro ERP for production control and full traceability.
